The Bamboo Casing: Fully removable and machine washable. Refer to the interior label to preserve the plush bamboo fibers.

The Latex Core: Organic latex is highly sensitive to UV light. Never expose the bare core to direct sunlight. Spot clean only with mild soap and a damp cloth.

Longevity: Rotate the topper 180 degrees every six months to ensure perfectly even wear.

Every material in this piece is tested by an independent body before it reaches us. The certificates are held by the people who make the components, and each one covers exactly what it was issued for.

GOLS, the Global Organic Latex Standard: the certificate on our latex. It requires a minimum of 95% certified organic content by weight, and it audits the chain behind that figure: how the rubber is grown and tapped, what may be added during processing, and the conditions people work in. Organic is a word anyone can print on a label. This is the document underneath ours.

GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard: the same principle applied to cloth. It certifies the organic cotton of the inner cover inside each piece, from the raw fibre through to the finished fabric.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1: tested for harmful substances against the strictest of the standard's four classes, the one written for articles made for babies. It covers the latex cores, the organic cotton inner covers and the bamboo casing.
